Source has learned that the film will release on Friday, November 6, and will be shown in most countries on that day.
The days leading up to Diwali are usually not great for box office success, but trade experts think Ramayana might be an exception.
The source added, "There’s a lot of buzz around Ramayana, so it's expected to make a strong start.From Monday, November 9, the film could have great success."
Dharma Productions is handling the release in India, while Sony Pictures is taking care of overseas distribution.
Earlier this week, Bollywood Hungama revealed that T-Series has bought the music rights for both parts of the movie for Rs.75 crores in advance.
The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman.
It's directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for Dangal, and produced by Namit Malhotra.The music is composed by A.R.Rahman and Hans Zimmer.It's a two-part story — the first part will come out on Diwali 2026, and the second part will be released on Diwali 2027.
