Ohh My Dog follows in the footsteps of Dhurandhar The Revenge, Bhooth Bangla; to have paid previews on August 6 that too for JUST Rs. 149

The trend of paid previews has really taken off in Bollywood this year.It started with *Dhurandhar The Revenge*, which did well during its previews.Then came *Bhooth Bangla*, and another Akshay Kumar film, *Welcome To The Jungle*, also had paid previews, and both did well before their full releases.Last month, *Baby Do Die Do* had paid previews on Thursday, July 2, just a day before its official release.Now, the next film to join this trend is *Ohh My Dog*.

A trade source told , “The distributors have told theatres across the country today that they can schedule paid previews for *Ohh My Dog* on Thursday, August 6, which is a day before its official release on Friday, August 7.

Theaters have been asked to make sure that the shows are held between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm.Some theaters have already started booking tickets for the previews.”

Usually, paid preview tickets are more expensive and cost as much as weekend tickets.

But *Ohh My Dog* is different.The source said, “Theaters have been told to sell preview tickets for Rs.149.These are only the prices for the previews.From Friday, the regular weekend price will be in effect.”

An industry insider said, “By holding paid previews, the makers are showing they believe in the movie.

Also, selling tickets at a low price will make people want to watch it and talk about it.This will help spread the word, which is especially important for a movie that doesn’t have big stars.”
