Coolie shows increased in multiplexes on popular demand; showcasing battle with War 2 gets intense

The conflict between War 2 (Hindi) and Coolie (Hindi) is becoming more intense than anyone could have predicted, making everything in the film business unstable. Coolie is making its way toward the audience in the face of a force like War 2. Bollywood Hungama revealed earlier this week that Coolie will only be getting one or two shows in the four-screen properties after YRF secured 100% showcasing in all single-, dual-, and triple-screen properties in India.

However, the advancements were all that was required to turn the tide. There has been a significant change in showcasing over the past four days, with Coolie's showcasing growing daily. Originally scheduled to open with a first-day capacity of Rs. 8 crore, the film's capacity has now raised by 60% to Rs. 13 crores due to the positive advance booking response. Even though War 2 will be the most popular movie in Hindi, Coolie has a good chance of doing better on the day of release because the size is still less than what is needed.

"Coolie is doing well in the tier 2 and tier 3 centers, so we are boosting the shows for the film," a prominent multiplex operator informs us on condition of anonymity. It is our responsibility as service providers to meet the audience's desire.

Another movie theater owner, who runs a two-screen complex, said us, "YRF gave us specific instructions not to give Coolie a single screening. However, because of the audience's demand, we have now been able to host two Coolie events at our property, and ticket sales have begun as well."

To safeguard their financial interests, movie theaters and multiplex chains have not disclosed their names; however, the number of shows on the Book My Show site has already begun to rise.
