Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, and Nikhil Kamath join forces with Radico Khaitan to launch luxury spirits’ venture

In order to launch a new line of high-end alcoholic beverages under the name D'YAVOL Spirits, Radico Khaitan Limited has announced a historic collaboration with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, his son Aryan Khan's D'YAVOL Luxury Collective, and businessman Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha. With an emphasis on globally sourced products that represent rich regional heritage through bottled-in-origin offerings, our partnership aims to create some of the best spirits in the world, catering to discriminating consumers in India and abroad.

Radico Khaitan's board of directors has approved a strategic partnership and investment with D'YAVOL Spirits B.V. and D'YAVOL Spirits Private Limited. Radico Khaitan will purchase a 47.5% ownership stake in each business under this agreement, with a maximum investment of Rs. 40 crore.

Radico Khaitan is the major shareholder in both D'YAVOL B.V. and D'YAVOL India, as well as Aryan Khan, Harprit Singh, NK Enterprises Holding Limited, and Kamath Technology LLP, according to the partnership agreements they signed. Premium spirit brands will be marketed, traded, and distributed globally by the alliance, with luxury tequila serving as the main product.

"Radico Khaitan has always believed in leading the alcobev space with consumer-centric innovation," said Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director of Radico Khaitan, expressing his excitement. We are embarking on a daring new chapter with D'YAVOL Spirits, fusing our demonstrated proficiency in blending, marketing, and distribution with the allure and magnetism of Shah Rukh Khan, the spirit of entrepreneurship of Aryan Khan, and the innovative and forward-thinking perspective of Nikhil Kamath.

"Every great idea needs the appropriate spirit behind it," Shah Rukh Khan continued. We are creating something daring, current, and forward-looking at D'YAVOL with Abhishek's experience, Nikhil's enthusiasm, and our creative instinct." "Our desire is to develop a brand that does not only sit on a shelf but lives in culture," said Aryan Khan, co-founder of D'YAVOL, highlighting the company's cultural goals.

Entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath offered his thoughts on the changing luxury industry, saying, "History, culture, and craftsmanship will be the foundation of tomorrow's greatest companies." That is what makes D'YAVOL, an Indian company with the goal and capacity to compete globally, so exciting to me.

This partnership is a major step in Radico Khaitan's plan to increase its market share in the premium spirits market by using celebrity endorsements and business acumen to meet the rising demand for upscale, historically significant alcoholic drinks.
