R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh’s next with Karan Johar titled Aap Jaisa Koi

Karan Johar has a bunch of feature films in his kitty with Aadhaar Poonawalla investment ready for 2.0. The maverick producer released a film starring R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in November, leading the media to speculate that the film would be titled "Tarki". However, as per our highly qualified sources, Tarki is not the title of this romantic comedy. 

 

Karan Johar's next film will be directed by Vivek Soni of Meenakshi Sundareshwar fame, co-starring R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. After exploring the title Tarki, the film has been titled "Aap Jaisa Koi". Karan is a big fan of the song and decided to keep the title as it is." 

The source further added, "The title suits the concept of the film well, where a 40-year-old fan loves a woman in her early 30s. The two meet on a dating app and the story unfolds from there. The film is set in Mumbai and Kolkata." 

The film will have a direct digital premiere on Netflix in 2025 and will follow Dharma's journey connecting with the streaming platform.
