Hilarious crossover: Shah Rukh Khan returns as Dr Jehangir Khan as Alia Bhatt’s Safeena threatens to “Dhop” Ranbir Kapoor’s Bunny in quirky ad, watch

Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have reunited for a new commercial that combines humor, nostalgia and iconic film characters. The video, shared on the Still Brands Instagram account, sees the trio playing memorable film roles and showcasing a funny take on a marriage counseling agency. 

A hilarious crossover of iconic characters 

 

The commercial features Shah Rukh Khan as Dr. Jehangir Khan from Dear Zindagi (2016), Alia Bhatt as Safeena from Gully Boy (2019) and Ranbir Kapoor as Bunny from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (2013).  

The scene begins with Safeena and Jehangir waiting for Bunny, who is late as usual. Bunny happily asks the couple about their married life, which leads to a humorous exchange. Safeena complains about Bunny's obsession with mountains, saying "he wants to do anything except stay at home," but Bunny defends his sense of adventure and playfully allows the argument to escalate. 

Jehangir steps in with an unconventional solution, giving them an iron rod to repair the house Bunny damaged while climbing. The video cleverly incorporates the brand's products into the storyline while retaining the essence of each character. 

On the work front, all three actors have an exciting line-up of projects coming up. Shah Rukh Khan will star in Sujoy Ghosh's King, which will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan as part of the cast. He will also lend his voice to Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King, which is due to be released in India on December 20. 

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will star opposite Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, which is scheduled to release on March 20, 2026. He is also prepping for Nitesh Tiwari's two-part epic Ramayana. Alia Bhatt will appear in Shiv Rawail's spy film Love and War and Alpha, which is scheduled to release on December 25, 2025.
