A spokesperson said, “Kartik Aaryan got a knee injury while doing an action scene for his film.
His surgery went well, and he is now at home, resting and recovering.He will be back on set soon.”
The injury happened while Kartik was filming an action scene for his upcoming project with director Kabir Khan.
The film, which hasn’t been named yet, is his second film with Kabir Khan after Chandu Champion.Kartik is playing a kickboxing coach in the sports drama, which is based on the story of kickboxer Tajamul Islam.
Kartik had been doing a lot of physical training for the tough role.
However, he got the knee injury while filming one of the action scenes.After the incident, he received medical treatment and was told to rest after the surgery.
This update comes as Kartik has several projects coming up.
His work with Kabir Khan has drawn attention, especially after his performance in Chandu Champion.The new sports drama will also be Kartik’s first time as a producer under his production company, Dopamine Studios.
Even though there was a setback, the spokesperson confirmed that Kartik is recovering at home and is expected to return to the set soon.
This development may temporarily change his shooting schedule, with his return depending on his recovery.
Kartik was in the news recently after winning the Best Actor award at the 72nd National Film Awards for his role as Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Petkar in Chandu Champion.
With his surgery successfully done, he is now focusing on recovery before getting back to his work.
