Aamir Khan opts out of Ashneer Grover biopic over creative differences; Rahul Mody and Shraddha Kapoor on hunt for a new actor

Earlier this year, there were reports that Aamir Khan was working with a new director, Rahul Mody, on a movie about Ashneer Grover, a controversial start-up founder.The news spread quickly and caused a lot of discussion online.Soon after, it was announced that Shraddha Kapoor would play the female lead, and the film was set to start filming in March 2027, after Aamir finishes shooting for a period drama directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar.

But the latest update says that Aamir Khan has left the project because of differences in creative vision.

"Aamir was interested in the start-up world and wanted to bring that to life through the Ashneer Grover story.He worked closely on the script and made changes based on his own ideas.However, he and Rahul Mody couldn't agree on some creative choices, so they decided to part ways," a source shared with Bollywood Hungama.

The same source says that Rahul Mody and Shraddha Kapoor are still committed to making the film.

"The couple is now trying to find a new actor to play Ashneer Grover.They're talking to a few top names, and the final cast is expected to be decided soon," the source added.

The film will be produced by Shraddha Kapoor and a major studio, and she will also play the role of Ashneer's wife in the movie.
