The critically acclaimed unscripted documentary series In-Transit, from Amazon Prime Video, has been nominated for Outstanding Documentary at the 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.
The nomination puts the series in the company of global works that are recognized for fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of LGBTQ+ lives and issues across different media.
In-Transit is directed by Ayesha Sood and produced by Tiger Baby.
It follows the deeply personal journeys of nine trans and non-binary individuals from across India. The series is set against a variety of backdrops, including big cities like Mumbai and Delhi, as well as smaller towns. It explores themes like identity, love, family, and self-expression beyond strict gender norms.
Each person featured in the series is at a different stage of their life, collectively challenging big societal norms and giving an intimate look at real-life experiences within an Indian context.
Notably, In-Transit is the only Indian documentary nominated in this category, highlighting the growing global recognition of authentic Indian storytelling.

Streaming only on Amazon Prime Video, In-Transit reflects Tiger Baby's ongoing focus on socially relevant stories that center on real-life experiences and engage global audiences through honest and empathetic storytelling.
