Trade experts believe that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 would be a sure-shot HUGE opener: “After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik owned the part. He has taken over completely”

 The much-awaited horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released on Diwali and was a huge hit. Starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Tripti Dimri, the horror comedy clashed with the multi-starrer Singham Again. Singham was a cult franchise and this time Ajay Devgn  joined  Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. It was also directed by Rohit Shetty. However, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 opened with a bang and was more popular than the cop action film. Because of this, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is already buzzing with anticipation. Producer and film industry analyst Girish Johar said, "The audience base  has expanded and so has the box office. The film is the highest-grossing film at the domestic box office for Kartik Aaryan and Anees Bazmee. So, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is definitely in the works." 

Film  distributor Akshaye Rathi responded, "The next edition of Bhool Bhulaiyaa will definitely benefit from the buzz and sales generated by the previous edition." We hope that the film gets made and that the makers and actors make it for the right reasons - the right script and the right story - and not just to make money from brand equity. This will keep the franchise alive  for everyone. ” 

Industry veteran Taran Adarsh ​​thinks the bar should be set high and there should be a fourth part. “Before the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, many people were of the opinion that the first part  was better. It certainly looks familiar, but since Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,  the role has belonged to Kartik. He has completely taken over. ” 

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 marks the return of Vidya Balan to the franchise after Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and the reunion of Kartik and Anees after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022).
