Shahid Kapoor – Pooja Hegde starrer Deva gets preponed; to release in January

After his huge success with the film Teri Barton Main Aisa Urja Jiya, which released on Valentine's Day in 2024, Shahid Kapoor was expected to return to theatres again on the same occasion in 2025. The actor will be seen in the action film Deva, starring Pooja Hegde. However, it is said that fans can see the actor in theatres a few days earlier. 

The makers had earlier claimed that they wanted to pack in some action during Valentine's week, but it seems they have decided to bring the release forward. But now, we hear that Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films have jointly decided to release the film in the last week of January. Sources have revealed that Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films' much-awaited adrenaline-fueled action thriller Deva will hit theatres on January 31, 2025. Industry analyst Taran Adarsh also confirmed the news in a tweet. 

For those unaware, Shahid Kapoor will be returning to the big screen after almost a year in an action entertainer. The actor plays the role of a police officer in the film and fans will get to see his chemistry with Pooja Hegde for the first time. Pavail Gulati and Kubbra Sait also star in the lead roles. It is directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews and produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Deva promises thrilling performances and an exciting storyline that will keep the audience hooked. It guarantees an unforgettable movie experience. This cinema spectacle will be released in cinemas on 31st January 2025.
