Day 5 of the Devara Part 1 box office haul: The Jr. NTR actioner has not moved.
Day 5 of the Devara box office collection advertisement: After a worrying drop on Monday, Jr. NTR's most recent spectacle has shown some growth in its collections. Collections on Tuesday evening increased in all languages, primarily Hindi, due to the Wednesday national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti. Devara Part 1 made Rs 13.5 crore on Tuesday, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, up from Rs 12.75 crore on Monday, which was a huge drop. The evening and night shows of Devara saw a spike in collections due to Wednesday being a national holiday, paving the way for even greater growth on Wednesday.

The film currently has a net total of Rs 186 crore in India, while its worldwide gross is close to Rs 340 crore. The original Telugu version of the movie made Rs 8 crore, whereas the dubbed Hindi version made more than Rs 5 crore. Since its debut, the Hindi version of Devara Part 1 has consistently performed well at the box office. The Hindi version of Kali in 2898 AD had better legs than the original Telugu version, demonstrating a similar trend.

Devara Part 1 appears to have found acceptance, particularly in mass pockets, despite its mixed reception. The movie should continue to trend well throughout the week before experiencing a spike in its second weekend with no major box office releases in the way.

The film, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in their Telugu debuts, will have a full week to itself before competing with two Hindi films at the box office: the jailbreak action film Jigra, directed by Alia Bhatt, and the Triptii Dimri, starring Rajkummar Rao.
