The big Diwali release, Ramayana, is coming in three weeks, and people are getting more excited every day. It's going to be the biggest Indian movie ever shown worldwide, and the team has been working hard to make it happen.A big update is that the movie has finished the censorship process in the United States.
The Motion Picture Association gave Ramayana a PG-13 rating. This is like the U/A rating in India, which means some parts might not be suitable for kids under 13.
According to the Motion Picture Association's website, the movie got this rating because of 'scenes with strong violence and action, and some bloody images'.
Another big update is that Ramayana has been approved internationally with a runtime of over three hours.
According to the IMAX website, the movie is 3 hours and 15 minutes long. But trade sources say the English version is expected to be shorter, around 2 hours and 45 minutes.More details will be clear in a few days.
Ramayana is Ranbir Kapoor's next movie after Animal (2023). Interestingly, it's also his second film, after Animal, to be more than three hours long.
