Even though Faruqui has performed in Dubai before, this show is the first time he will perform Beedi in front of a live audience there.
This marks the start of the next stage of the show, as he returns to a familiar place with a new set.At the same time, Pati Patni Aur Panga 2 will bring him back to television, where he'll meet celebrity couples and get involved in the conversations and situations that happen on the show.
Speaking about handling both projects, Faruqui said, "It's an exciting weekend for me.
I'll be in Dubai with Beedi, and even though I've performed there before, this is the first time I'm bringing this new show to a live audience, so that makes it special. Then Pati Patni Aur Panga is coming back, so I get to be on the other side, meeting these couples and being part of all their fun and chaos. The formats are very different, but I enjoy both because, at the end of the day, it's about connecting with people and making them laugh. So this weekend, people can choose to watch me on stage or on screen," Faruqui said.
These two engagements show the different formats Faruqui has been working in lately.
While stand-up comedy is still a big part of his career, he has also taken on acting, hosting, and reality TV roles, allowing him to work in both live and screen-based projects.
On the acting side, Faruqui recently made his debut in First Copy.
He is also working on Angadia, a project that features Mahesh Manjrekar.Alongside his acting and TV commitments, the comedian keeps performing across different cities as part of his comedy world tour.
With Beedi starting its live journey in Dubai and Pati Patni Aur Panga 2 coming back to TV, Faruqui is gearing up to connect with audiences through two different formats during the same weekend.
