3 Monkeys: Mustafa Burmawala drops the first look poster of the Abbas–Mustan thriller also starring Arjun Rampal

Mustafa Burmawala, who first appeared in Bollywood with the movie *Machine* featuring Kiara Advani, is back in a new film called *3 Monkeys*.The movie is directed by the filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan.Recently, the film started its marketing with the release of the first poster and teaser, giving fans a look at the main characters.

In *3 Monkeys*, Mustafa plays the character named Akbar.
Vishal Jethwa is Amar and Tenzin Dalha is Anthony.Arjun Rampal also joins the cast as Sanjay.The promotional content gives a hint about the characters, but the reasons behind their actions and the bigger story of the film are still not fully revealed.

For Mustafa, working with Abbas-Mustan is a big deal.
He shared his feelings about the film, saying, "I'm really excited to be part of *3 Monkeys*, especially because it's an Abbas-Mustan film.They've made some of the best thrillers, so it's a special opportunity for me.The story is interesting and has a unique twist that I'm sure audiences will enjoy.I'm looking forward to seeing how people react to it."

The teaser starts with the image of the three wise monkeys.
It then introduces Amar, Akbar, and Anthony as three masked men.The clips show that they might be in a risky situation, but there are also moments that suggest they have a fun side.

The film's main idea is based on the saying "Bura Mat Dekho, Bura Mat Suno, Bura Mat Bolo," but it gives a modern twist through the line "Sab Dekho.
Apni Suno.Bekhauf Bolo." Abbas and Mustan explained, "There's a lot going on behind those masks, and that's the mystery we want people to find out in the theater."

So far, the makers haven't shared the full story of *3 Monkeys*.
The promotional materials leave many questions unanswered, like what the three characters are doing, with the possibility of a robbery, heist, or a bigger conflict still part of the film's mystery.

*3 Monkeys* is set to release in theaters around the world on December 4, 2026.
