BIG BREAKTHROUGH for Salman Khan’s Maatrubhumi as it gets government clearance; revised film shows India-China ties in a positive light

Source has been sharing news about Salman Khan's movie Maatrubhumi. The film was originally called Battle Of Galwan but was renamed to Maatrubhumi earlier this year. The story is based on the 2020 conflict between India and China.Since the relationship between the two countries has improved, the Ministry of Defence had some concerns about the film’s content and how China was shown, which caused the release to be delayed.

Recently, there was a big change when the government approved the film for a theatrical release.
A source said, "The officials from the I&B Ministry are now happy with the new version of Maatrubhumi that the makers submitted. So, they gave their approval to the war film last week. That means the movie can now be shown to the public."

The same source also said that Salman Khan has a planned release date.
"Salman Khan is looking at November 13.He thinks that the time after Diwali, when people are still feeling happy and celebrating, is a good time to release the film. But the censorship process is still going on.The makers will soon send the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).If the CBFC approves it and the process is finished this month, Salman and his team will most likely show Maatrubhumi in cinemas on November 13.More details will be known in the next 10 days."

The source also explained the changes made to the film because of the government's instructions.
"The new version of Maatrubhumi is very different from the original. It now also shows the relationship between India and China in a positive way."

Besides Salman Khan, Maatrubhumi also features Chitrangda Singh.
The movie is directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
