Salman is expected to shoot for 10 days for his part, which is important for the story.
Details of the film are still secret, but it's said that Salman's role will help Arhaan's film get more attention thanks to his big name.
The film, which doesn't have a title yet, is being directed by Anirudh Iyer.
He previously directed An Action Hero, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat.Ashwin Varde, who has produced movies like Kabir Singh and OMG 2, is producing this project.
Arhaan has been working hard to prepare for his debut.
He studied filmmaking in the US, and worked with Vikram Phadnis.He also helped out on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani with Karan Johar.He currently hosts a podcast on his YouTube channel called Dumb Biryani.
A source close to the project said, "Arhaan has been ready for cinema for a while.
When Ashwin Varde approached Arbaaz with this film to launch Arhaan on the big screen, it felt like the right film at the right time.Arhaan is happy to have found the kind of debut he was looking for and is excited to face the camera as a leading man."
The film is currently casting for the female lead, and they are looking for a new face to pair with Arhaan.
The shooting is planned for early next year, but the exact schedule will be decided once all the details are finalised.
This will be Anirudh Iyer's second directorial project after An Action Hero.
He was also supposed to direct an action romance with Lakshya and Rasha Thadani last year, but it was put on hold for unknown reasons.He is now working on several new projects and finally back behind the camera with this new love story.Ashwin Varde's next project is an untitled film starring Johnny Lever, directed by Farhad Samji.
