Ram Gopal Varma’s Police Company full cast revealed; Director reunites with his Satya actors

Source shared news yesterday that Ram Gopal Varma is directing a new movie called Police Company.The film will star Harshvardhan Rane, who played a character in Sanam Teri Kasam, as Daya Nayak, a famous encounter specialist from Mumbai.Both the director and the actor confirmed this news on their social media accounts and shared more information about the project.

Harshvardhan Rane will play Daya Nayak, while Fardeen Khan will portray one of his team members who is part of a special police unit.Soundarya Sharma, who has acted in movies like Meeruthiya Gangsters and Housefull 5, will play the female lead.The director has also brought back three actors from his classic film Satya—Paresh Rawal, Saurabh Shukla, and Makarand Deshpande—for important roles.

The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Ram Gopal Varma's RGV Company Production.
It's a crime thriller set in the late 1990s and early 2000s, a time when the underworld in India was becoming more powerful.Between 1997 and 2004, a special team, known to be more dangerous than D Company, was created to fight against the growing crime.It's believed that this team helped eliminate nearly 300 gangsters.The story is based on this real-life event and follows Daya Nayak, a celebrated encounter specialist who fought against the underworld.

The film will start shooting in Mumbai on August 17 and is expected to finish production by December, with a theatrical release planned for next year.
