King100: Teaser of Nagarjuna starrer unveiled on his birthday; film to clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer King

Nagarjuna Akkineni celebrated his birthday on August 29 by releasing the first look of his important 100th film, King100.The movie is written and directed by R.A.Karthik, and it has officially set its release date for December 24, 2026.This date is also when Shah Rukh Khan's film King will be released, so both movies will be on the same day.

The release date is special because King is one of the most awaited Hindi films of the year.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action movie stars Shah Rukh Khan and features his first onscreen appearance with his daughter, Suhana Khan.It also marks Suhana's first time in a theatrical film, after she made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's Netflix movie The Archies.

King100 remained mostly hidden during its one-year production.

The first look, shared by Annapurna Studios on Nagarjuna's birthday, shows the actor in a stylish form and gives a preview of the movie's world.

The teaser shows Nagarjuna's character thinking about money, success, and who he is.

He says, "There are two kinds of people in this world.Those who have money and those who don't.When I didn't have money, they called me a loser.When I had money, they called me a King.But this identity is more powerful than money.To keep this identity, I have to keep running."

The visuals show Nagarjuna in a golden look, and the music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

The teaser ends with the title and the message "Long Live The King," along with the confirmed December 24 release date.

King100 is produced by Annapurna Studios.

In addition to Nagarjuna, the film has an ensemble cast, and more details are yet to be revealed.The technical team includes cinematographer Raja Mahadhevan, production designer Sathees Kumar N, editor Navin Nooli, and costume designers Poorva, Rajini, Tanya, and Bhramma.The action scenes are handled by Venkat, Prithivi, Nabakanth, Real Sathish, and Dinesh Kasi.Tuney John is working on the publicity design.

With both movies set for December 24, 2026, Nagarjuna's King100 and Shah Rukh Khan's King are ready to compete for audience attention during the Christmas season.
