Kartik Aaryan donates Rs. 1 crore to Assam flood relief fund, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma thanks actor

Actor Kartik Aaryan has donated Rs.1 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund in Assam to help people affected by the recent floods.The Assam Chief Minister's official X account confirmed this donation and also thanked Kartik for his generous support.

  

Kartik is part of a group of Bollywood celebrities who have given money and helped spread awareness about the relief work in Assam.

The official X account of the Assam Chief Minister shared that Kartik Aaryan had donated Rs.

1 crore and expressed his thanks for the actor's help.

This donation will help with rescue, recovery, and relief work for people impacted by the floods.

Ayushmann Khurrana Also Extends Support  

Kartik is not the only Bollywood actor helping with the relief efforts.

Earlier, Ayushmann Khurrana had donated Rs.11 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Bollywood Rallies Behind Assam Flood Victims  

Besides giving money, many film industry people have used their influence to support the relief efforts.

Bhumi Pednekar was among the first celebrities to bring attention to the Assam floods.

While many were talking about student protests, she shared a video about the flood situation and asked people to help those affected.

Alia Bhatt also encouraged her followers on Instagram to support flood relief in Assam.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Salman Khan helped the victims through his charity organisation, Being Human.
