Sonu Sood has responded to the controversy involving BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut, who made comments about Gen Z protesters.
He said that young people deserve respect and play a key role in helping public figures succeed.Talking to the media, Sonu emphasized the importance of respecting the younger generation and being careful when expressing opinions.

When asked about Kangana’s remarks, Sonu said he hadn’t heard her comments yet.
But he talked about how important public support from young people is.He said, “I haven’t heard her statement.But I feel that these young people are the ones who make actors, and they are the ones who help you reach this position.”
He also stressed how public support is crucial in every career.
He added, “As long as they stand by you, you will continue to thrive.If they are not with you, it becomes difficult.That's why everyone should be taken along.”
He explained that success depends on staying connected with people, no matter what job you have.
“Whatever your profession may be, whether you are an actor, a doctor, or anything else, your existence in this world has meaning only as long as people are connected with you,” he said.
After being told that Kangana had referred to Gen Z as “Generation Gutter,” Sonu strongly criticized the remark.
“If she has said that, then I think it is very shameful.It should not have been said,” he said.
He also shared a message about being responsible when speaking publicly.
“There is a saying, ‘Tol mol ke bol’ (weigh your words before speaking).It is very important to think carefully before you speak because the public is another form of God,” he added.
The controversy started after Kangana criticized Gen Z protesters on social media following demonstrations at Jantar Mantar and other places.
She called the protest content “puke-inducing” and said the language used by the protesters was “jarring and crass.” She also accused them of abusing freedom, claiming they glorify drugs, alcohol, and dependence on their parents’ money.Kangana labeled them “Generation Gutter,” saying they contribute little to society and making further remarks about their abilities and values.Her comments sparked a lot of online discussion, with Sonu Sood being one of the latest public figures to voice his disagreement with the controversial statement.
