Rani Mukerji to receive Honorary Doctor of Letters from La Trobe University at IFFM 2026

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is excited to share that famous actor and helper Rani Mukerji will be given a special honor called the Honorary Doctor of Letters by La Trobe University during the 2026 festival.

The special honor will happen on August 14, 2026, at Federation Square in Melbourne as part of the festival.
This recognition is because of Rani Mukerji’s amazing work in Indian movies and her long-time help for women, kids, and other groups who are not well-off.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will take place from August 13 to 23, 2026.
