The trend of paid previews has gained a lot of attention in Bollywood this year.It started with Dhurandhar The Revenge, which did well in its previews.Then came Bhooth Bangla, and the other Akshay Kumar film, Welcome To The Jungle, also had paid previews.Both of these movies did good in their pre-release showings.Now, the next film to follow this trend is Baby Do Die Do.It will have paid previews on Thursday, July 2, and a full release on July 3.
Theatres across the country started booking for Baby Do Die Do yesterday.
Many viewers were surprised to see the film listed for Thursday shows, as the makers didn't publicly mention that the action thriller would start on Thursday evening.Shows will begin at 7:00 pm and advance bookings have begun in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune.More cities are expected to join soon.
Baby Do Die Do is about India’s first desi hitwoman.
Huma Qureshi plays the lead role of a deaf and mute assassin.The film is produced by Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem under the banner of Saleem Siblings and directed by Nachiket Samant.
Another film this week will also have paid previews – the Hollywood animated family entertainer Minions & Monsters.
However, unlike Baby Do Die Do, its shows will start at 4:00 pm on July 2, and the full release will be on Friday, July 3.
Lastly, the other major film this week is Alpha.
Like Baby Do Die Do, Alpha is also about a powerful female assassin.Produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), it stars Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.Directed by Shiv Rawail, who previously directed the globally successful series The Railway Men, the film is part of the much-loved YRF Spy Universe.
