Alpha Day 3 Box Office Estimate: Alia Bhatt–Sharvari starrer collects Rs. 13.5–14 cr. on Sunday; has a Rs. 35 cr. opening weekend

Alpha, the movie starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, showed good growth at the box office on its third day.Early estimates suggest that the YRF spy thriller is expected to earn between Rs.13.5 crores and Rs.14 crores net on Sunday.

The film started its third day strongly, making about Rs.

2.59 crores by 11 AM, which is higher than the Rs.1.75 crores collected on the same time on the second day.That's a growth of almost 48%.By 5 PM, the total net collection across India was around Rs.9.83 crores, showing a growth of about 45% compared to the same time on Saturday.However, the growth slowed down during the evening and night shows, leading to a final estimate lower than the earlier prediction of Rs.15 crores or more.

In the morning, the film had an occupancy rate of around 12%, which increased to about 18% during early afternoon shows.

Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru were the top cities in terms of earnings, while Maharashtra, NCR, and Gujarat were the best-performing states.

The major multiplex chains continued to play a big role in the film's success.

PVR INOX and Cinepolis together collected about Rs.1.51 crores by 11 AM, making up nearly 58% of the film's total earnings at that time.

With an estimated Rs.

13.5 to 14 crores on Day 3, Alpha has finished its opening weekend with around Rs.35 crores.The film's performance on Monday will be important in determining if it can keep up its success during the weekdays.
