They want all the showtimes in single-screen cinemas.
In two-screen places, they want 7 or 8 showtimes, and in three-screen places, they need 9 or 10.For four-screen multiplexes, they want 11 or 12 showtimes, and in five-screen plexes, that's 13 or 14.For six-screen multiplexes, they need 15 or 16 showtimes. And in multiplexes with more than six screens, they want three shows per screen.
According to a source, the movie is meant for the big screen because it has a lot of humor and a big cast.
That's why the studio wants a wide release to make sure it starts strongly.
Now, there might be some issues because of the high number of showtimes, especially since other movies are also coming out.
For example, "Cocktail 2" is still doing well, and "Main Vaapas Aaunga" is not slowing down. Some Gujarati and Marathi movies are also doing well.Plus, Hollywood movie "Supergirl" and the new Punjabi film "Carry On Jatta 4" are coming out this Friday. All these movies will need enough showtimes, so it's still to be seen how things go in the next few days.
