Cocktail 2 Budget EXCLUSIVE: Rs. 150 crore landing cost revealed; production at Rs. 95 crore, actor fees at Rs. 35 crore

Cocktail 2, produced by Dinesh Vijan, is getting a lot of attention online. People are really impressed with how big and fancy the film looks, especially the beautiful locations and the glamorous style in a romantic comedy. Directed by Homi Adjania, the movie features Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, and is set to release on June 19.

According to insiders, Dinesh Vijan, through his company Maddock, is doing everything possible to make sure the film is of the highest quality.

 "Cocktail 2 is one of the most expensive romantic comedies in Hindi cinema. The production cost of Cocktail 2 is around Rs. 95 crores, and the combined fees for Shahid, Kriti, and Rashmika are around Rs. 35 crores," said a source

The team is also spending another Rs. 20 crores on print and publicity, bringing the total landing cost of the film to Rs. 150 crores.

 Interestingly, Maddock's strong reputation in the industry has helped them get good deals outside of theaters too. We will share more details soon, but about 50 per cent of the budget has already been covered through pre-sales.

The source added, "Dinesh Vijan is one of the few producers in Hindi cinema who doesn't back down once he believes in his vision.

 Cocktail 2 is not being treated like a regular romantic comedy; it's being made like a big-screen blockbuster. When most producers would hesitate to spend Rs. 150 crores on a film in this genre, Dinesh has gone all out on scale, locations, music, styling, and presentation. That belief is what makes Maddock and Dinesh stand out today."

The makers have shot the film at real locations to give it a fresh look and feel.

 This change is meant to bring a new era to romantic comedies. The film was shot over 70 days across the globe, with a lot of scenes filmed in Europe.
