Pathak posted a photo from the film's set and talked about the long journey of making the sequel.
âAnd thatâs a wrap on the shoot of #Drishyam3,â he wrote.
He thanked the cast and crew for their hard work, saying the film was a big challenge that needed teamwork and determination.
âFor the past many months, this film has been our world. Weâve spent countless days and nights together, chasing scenes, solving problems, sharing laughs, overcoming challenges, and slowly bringing this story to life,â Pathak shared.
He also thanked everyone involved in making the film, including those behind the scenes.
âTo everyone Iâve tagged here, and the many other incredible people behind the scenes, thank you. Thank you for your trust, your hard work, your patience, and for believing in this film every step of the way.â
Pathak also mentioned the tough times during the making of the film, but said everyone stayed committed.
âThere were good days, difficult days, and crazy days, but you showed up every single time and gave it everything you had,â he wrote.
He ended by saying the film represents the effort and passion of all the people involved.
âThis film carries a piece of all of you. Your effort, your passion, and your heart can be found in every frame. Iâm incredibly grateful to have shared this journey with such amazing people. Thank you for helping me tell this story.â
This update follows Pathak's recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, where he said the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 won't be a direct copy of the Malayalam film.
He explained that although both versions have the same emotion, the Hindi version is different and tailored for its audience. âThe Malayalam film is an emotional family drama, while ours is a family thriller,â he said.
Now that filming is done, the next step is post-production.
Drishyam 3, with Ajay Devgn in the lead, is set to release in theatres on October 2, 2026.
