Cocktail 2 trailer to be launched on May 29; media gets EXCLUSIVE glimpse of foot-tapping track ‘Mashooka’ and soulful number ‘Tujhko’

A fun event was held by the Cocktail 2 team at a high-end restobar in central Mumbai on Sunday, May 17. It was attended by Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Rashmika Mandanna, producers Dinesh Vijan and Luv Ranjan, director Homi Adajania, and music director Pritam Chakraborty. The media was invited to the party with the promise of a surprise.

The surprise was an exclusive preview of the two songs.

 "Mashooka" shows Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon dancing and having fun in Sicily, Italy, and other beautiful places. The song starts with a playful, funny mood and ends with a sensual dance sequence.

Meanwhile, "Tujhko" is sung by Arijit Singh and features Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.

 It's a slow, romantic song that suggests the two characters were once in love in college but were separated by circumstances.

After both songs were shown, the media was asked to choose which one should be released first.

 First, journalists were asked to shout out their favorite track. Then, a QR code appeared on the screen, leading them to a voting link.

The results showed that "Mashooka" got more votes than "Tujhko."

 This made the team feel a bit unsure since they thought both songs were equally good. Pritam Chakraborty said the team should respect the voters' choice and release "Mashooka" first. Dinesh Vijan then announced that "Mashooka" would be the first song to come out, followed by "Tujhko."

Interestingly, "Tujhko" ends with a message that the much-awaited trailer for Cocktail 2 will be released on May 29.

 The film is planned for a cinema release on June 19.
