Alia Bhatt CONFIRMED to lead Tumbbad 3 with Sohum Shah; actress to make an extended cameo in Tumbbad 2

Alia Bhatt is considered one of the most talented actresses in Indian cinema. While her upcoming movie is the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Love and War, it has been revealed that she has already started shooting for another project. Reliable sources say that Alia is filming a 15-day cameo in the sequel of Tumbbad, titled Tumbbad 2, which is currently in production.

"A source close to the project told source that Alia is doing a 15-day extended cameo in Tumbbad 2, and her character is very important to the story.

 Also, her character will continue in the third film, which will be the final part of the Tumbbad trilogy. Tumbbad 2 will introduce Alia Bhatt as the main character of Tumbbad 3, along with Sohum Shah," the source said.

Alia is expected to finish shooting for Tumbbad 2 by the end of May and then move on to work on Love and War.

 "Love and War will start again in June and will be completed by August 2026. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is set for a release on Republic Day 2027," the source added.

Regarding Tumbbad 3, the film will start production right after the release of Tumbbad 2, and Alia's inclusion has made the trilogy even more exciting.
