A lot of the movie has already been shot, and Anees Bazmee plans to finish the filming by the end of May.

Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee are preparing for a funny family comedy.
The movie is set to release in December 2026. Photos show Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, and Indra Kumar at the airport. Other images include Akshay with Karan Johar, Malaika Arora, and others at a press conference. There are also pictures of Akshay with Ayushmann Khuranna at an event with the Chief Minister. Akshay was recently seen in Bandra and promoting Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla.

According to insiders, the film is coming together very well.
"Akshay Kumar is really happy with how the comedy is shaping up. He is impressed with Anees' sense of humor, which is special and still relevant today. He has even told Anees to work on another film, as he believes this one will be a big success. Akshay and the whole team are laughing a lot on set and when they watch the raw footage. This is one of the funniest shoots Anees and Akshay have experienced," said a source.

The source also mentioned that the relationship between Akshay and his son is one of the main comedic elements in the film.
"The movie is being planned for a December 2026 release. It is a full comedy entertainer with a hit song. The team has already shot a Holi dance number, which will be one of the main attractions when the film comes out. The dance is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, and Akshay did a great job in the shoot."

Akshay Kumar is currently doing well with his film Bhooth Bangla.
His next project, Welcome To The Jungle, is set for a June release.
