Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 release date announced; sequel arrives in cinemas on August 28, 2026

The team behind Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 has finally shared the movie's date for showing in theatres. The follow-up to the popular comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla will be in cinemas on August 28, 2026. The news came with the release of the film's poster, showing the next part of this well-loved series almost twenty years after the first one became a fan favorite.

Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is directed by Prashant Bhagia and made by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar through T-Series along with Tandav Films.

 The film is also produced by Savita Raj Hiremath and Raj Hiremath.

Though the story details are not yet known, the main actors from the first movie are returning to play their roles again, bringing back the characters that made the original so special.

 Ravi Kishan has also joined the cast for a key part.

The film was first announced this year in January.

 On January 3, 2026, veteran actor Anupam Kher started working on it, which is his 550th movie. He shared this milestone with his fans on social media and talked about his journey in the Indian film industry.

In an online post, Kher remembered a conversation with a filmmaker from overseas at the Cannes Film Festival.

 The filmmaker had once called him the "Marathon Man of Indian Cinema" because of the number of movies he had worked in. As he began filming Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 in Delhi, Kher wrote, “So today as I start my 550th film #KhoslaKaGhosla2 my heart is filled with GRATITUDE and THANKFULNESS!”

The first Khosla Ka Ghosla was loved for its funny take on the dreams of middle-class people, family life, and the messy problems of buying and selling property in big cities.

 Over time, the movie has gained a big fan group, with people still enjoying its humor and easy-to-relate stories.
