Shah Rukh Khan starrer KING locks Christmas 2026 release; explosive new teaser take fan frenzy to the next level

Shah Rukh Khan has officially confirmed that his film KING will release in cinemas on December 24, 2026, marking the end of 2026.

 The announcement, made by SRK and director Siddharth Anand, came with some fresh footage from the film's teaser, which made fans very excited and positioned KING as the biggest Christmas movie of the year.

  

Shah Rukh Khan shared a teaser video on X (formerly Twitter) that gives a closer look at the film's action-packed visuals.

 The clip shows SRK in a strong, older look, set against stunning backgrounds and stylish scenes that highlight the film’s excitement. Along with the video, SRK wrote, “#KING is Ready to ROAR on 24.12.2026 in Cinemas #ItsKingTime #KingDateAnnouncement,” which made a lot of people excited on social media.

The timing of the announcement has added more excitement.

 The date reveal comes just before the three-year anniversary of Pathaan, the blockbuster that brought SRK back to the big screen and started his successful run with Jawan and Dunki. With KING, Siddharth Anand returns to work with Shah Rukh Khan, raising expectations of another exciting film.

Earlier, on November 2, which was SRK’s birthday, the team released the title of the film, KING.

 The announcement included SRK’s older, action-filled look, a special song, and the now-famous line, “Darr nahi, Dehshat hoon,” which sparked a lot of discussion across different media platforms. With the release date now confirmed, the excitement around the film has only grown.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, KING is produced by Gauri Khan, Siddharth Anand, and Mamta Anand under Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.

 The film features a big cast led by Shah Rukh Khan, with Suhana Khan making her first appearance in a movie alongside her father. The cast also includes Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan in important roles, along with Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and Rani Mukerji.

With its Christmas release, stunning visuals, and SRK’s return in a powerful new look, KING is becoming the most anticipated movie of 2026 — one that promises to end the year with a big bang and set the stage for 2027.
