Salman Khan back on Battle Of Galwan sets for 15-day additional shoot and patchwork; action scene added

Source has been the first to share updates about Salman Khan's upcoming film, Battle Of Galwan. In December, we revealed that the teaser for the war drama would be released on Salman's birthday, December 27. We also shared that the film's release date would be announced around the same time. Now, we have another exciting update about the movie.

This includes some patchwork work and new scenes, including action sequences.

An exclusive report says that Salman, director Apoorva Lakhia, and the team are working on patchwork for the movie.
At the same time, they are adding a few new scenes, some featuring action. The schedule for this extra filming is 15 days long.

The source explained, "The patchwork was always planned.
The additional filming happened because the team realized those scenes are important to the story and will make the film more impactful. Salman doesn't want to miss any opportunity to ensure Battle Of Galwan becomes a memorable experience for the audience. He fully supported the additional shoot."

The source also said, "The makers have enough time as the film is releasing almost three months from now.
They are confident they will finish the movie well before its scheduled release on April 17."

Meanwhile, the first song of the film, "Maatrubhumi," was released on January 24.
It's still not clear when the much-anticipated trailer will be unveiled.

Besides Salman Khan, the film also stars Chitrangda Singh.
Salman plays the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu. The film is based on a chapter from the book "India's Most Fearless 3" (2022), written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. It is inspired by the real-life events of June 15, 2020, when Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed in the Galwan Valley during the pandemic.
