Dhurandhar effect! Shah Rukh Khan’s King & Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War may SPLIT into 2 parts?

Dhurandhar is proving to be a big change for the Indian film industry in many ways. It has completely changed how the business works in a surprising way. The sequel of Dhurandhar is now the most eagerly awaited movie in Indian cinema, especially since this year also has Ramayana: Part One coming out. The effect of Dhurandhar is already showing in the film industry.

According to reliable sources, there are high-level talks happening in the camps of Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali regarding the release of King and Love and War.

"Both King and Love and War are big-budget films that have gone beyond initial plans in terms of production costs. Since Dhurandhar has set a new trend, both SRK and Bhansali are thinking about splitting their films into two parts and releasing them within less than six months."

Love and War could come out in August 2026 and January 2027, while King is considering September 2026 and March 2027. "

This will happen only if they have enough footage to split the films into two parts. Right now, they are both shooting the films, and these are just early discussions as they analyze the success of Dhurandhar. A final decision on whether the films should be made into one part or two will be made during the editing phase," said a source.

Many more storytellers are now writing longer scripts with the idea of making two-part films.
"Splitting a film into two parts not only brings in more money from satellite and digital platforms, but also gives more creative freedom to explore different storylines. Dhurandhar has brought a new way of thinking to all creators and industry leaders. The coming months are going to be exciting."

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 is set to release on March 19.
