Don 3 Cast: Ranveer Singh Steps Back From Farhan Akhtar's Gangster Film

Mumbai, December 23 - The spy action movie Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has become a huge hit and has surprised everyone. Actor Ranveer Singh is not planning to slow down anytime soon. The movie has earned almost 900 crores globally and is close to hitting 1000 crores.

Ranveer Singh was supposed to start working on Farhan Akhtar's Don 3 after finishing Dhurandhar.

 But because of the film's success, he is thinking again about his plans. According to Pinkvilla, Singh has decided not to take on Don 3 because he doesn't want to be part of two gangster movies in a row.

It's said that Singh has left Don 3 and is now trying to move forward with his Zombie movie, which is directed by Jai Mehta.

 Since he has Dhurandhar 2 planned for March 19, 2026, he has asked Jai Mehta to start shooting the zombie movie, named Pralay, earlier than planned.

The film Pralay, which is backed by Applause Entertainment, tells a story about a man who goes to great lengths to protect his family during tough times.

 Ranveer Singh is personally helping to organize the schedule for Jai Mehta's film to make sure production starts as soon as possible.

At the same time, the team behind Don 3 has already begun looking for a new actor to take on the role of Don.

 They aim to start the film's production by the end of January 2026. Kriti Sanon will be playing the female lead in the movie.
