Ramayana 2 Postponed? Ranbir Kapoor’s Love & War Shoot Reportedly Slows Down Timeline

Fans are really excited about Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana and have been waiting for it to come out. Even though the first part of the movie is done, there are new updates saying that Ramayana Part 2 might not be released when people expected. This is because Ranbir is working on two big movies at the same time, which has made his schedule more packed than before.

Ranbir's busy schedule is slowing down the making of Ramayana Part 2.

Earlier, Ranbir used to focus on just one film at a time, but now he's taking on two major projects together: Ramayana and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War.
Both movies require a lot of time, thorough preparation, and long shooting hours.

Reports from source mentioned, "Ranbir had planned to complete the two parts of Ramayana, then move on to Bhansali's Love & War. But the film isn't showing any sign of being finished. So, he has no choice but to give Bhansali all the dates that were originally set aside for Ramayana Part 2. This means that Part 2 might not make it to theatres by the end of 2026 as originally planned." The delay is not final, but it seems very likely.

What Fans Can Expect Ahead
The postponement might disappoint fans.
However, it could ultimately be good for the movie in the long run. Nitesh Tiwari and his team want Ramayana to be a cinematic masterpiece that lasts for generations. Giving more time for the second part could help improve the story, visuals, and overall scale of the film.

The Ramayana series is huge in every way.
Ranbir plays the role of Ram, Sai Pallavi takes on Sita, Yash portrays Ravana, and the cast also includes actors like Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, and Sheeba Chaddha, among others.

Meanwhile, Love & War is another big project.
Ranbir recently said working with Bhansali again after 17 years is challenging but rewarding. With Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal joining him, the film has become a top priority for the actor.
