Param Sundari Movie Review: PARAM SUNDARI is a pleasant rom com.

Param Sundari Review {3.5/5} & Review Rating

Star cast: Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor

Param Sundari Movie Review Synopsis:
Param Sundari is a story about a man looking for a great business idea and love.
Param (played by Sidharth Malhotra) is the son of a rich businessman (Sanjay Kapoor) in Delhi. He has tried many different businesses and start-ups, but nothing has worked out. One day, he gets a proposal from a guy named Shekhar (Abhishek Banerjee), who has made a dating app. Shekhar asks Param to invest in his app, saying it will make it easy for people to find their perfect match. When Param tries the app on himself, he gets matched with Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor), a girl from a village in Kerala. To test the app, he decides to stay at Sundari’s home stay. His father gives him one month to find a match, after which he will invest in the app. Param travels to Kerala with his best friend Jaggi (Manjot Singh). At first, Param and Sundari don’t get along, but they slowly start to like each other. However, a twist in the story creates problems for their love.

Param Sundari Movie Story Review:
The story by Tushar Jalota, Gaurav Mishra, and Aarsh Arora isn’t new.
But Tushar Jalota’s screenplay is fresh. The story is told in a modern way with some funny and interesting situations as the couple gradually falls in love. The twist in the middle isn’t something new in this genre, but it surprises you because the makers didn’t show it in the trailer. The dialogues are natural and have light humor, though some lines feel forced or cheesy.

Tushar Jalota’s direction is simple and fresh.
He keeps the story light and avoids making it too heavy, even when a serious twist happens. Two sequences in the second half stand out: the boat race and the climax. The climax is simple and nice, which is a change from typical endings in this genre that are usually emotional or dramatic.

On the downside, the story feels familiar.
There are many films with a similar plot, so the ending doesn’t surprise much. Before the movie came out, people on social media thought it was like CHENNAI EXPRESS or 2 STATES. But it actually reminds you of DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE, especially because of the main character’s father and what he does in the second half.

Param Sundari Movie Review Performances:
Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor make a good pair.
Sidharth performs well in a typical romantic lead role. His style and how he speaks fit this kind of film. Janhvi Kapoor looks beautiful and suits the image of a mixed Malayalam-Tamil girl. She does well in emotional scenes and dialogue delivery, though her Malayalam accent seems a bit forced on some occasions. Sanjay Kapoor gives a pleasant performance as Param’s father. Manjot Singh plays the hero’s typical friend. Renji, who plays Venu, also does a good job.

Param Sundari Music and other technical aspects:
The music by Sachin-Jigar fits the film’s tone.
"Pardesiya" is a beautiful love song and becomes the movie’s theme. "Danger" is a fun track that makes you want to dance. The other songs are okay. The background music is well done, and "Pardesiya" is used effectively throughout.

Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran’s cinematography is impressive.
He makes the lovely locations of Kerala look even more beautiful. Etisha Jain and Priyanka Ghosh Riya’s art direction is top-notch and realistic. Neha Gurbuxani’s costumes match the characters well.

Param Sundari Movie Review Conclusion:
Overall, Param Sundari is a pleasant Bollywood romantic comedy.
Even though the story is familiar, the way it’s told makes it a fun and light-hearted watch. It connects well with the youth through a mix of emotions, romance, music, and drama. It’s likely to do well at the box office and have a good run in theaters.
