Ranveer Singh, Vikrant Massey to begin shooting for Don 3 in September: Report

After months of speculation and some delays, Don 3, the third episode of the popular action franchise, should finally go to the soil. A News 18 report says Ranveer Singh and Vikrant Massey will be filmed for the film in September 2025. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Singh will take over the title of Shah Rukh Khan, who played the role of modern thumping 

Ranve's casting initially triggered a mixed reaction, with fans of the franchise being separated to match Shah Rukh Khan's representation. However, the announcement with Ranveer, released in 2023, attracted considerable attention and set a new direction for the franchise. According to the report, the delay in the production of the film was largely due to Farhan Akhtar's previous commitments, including his venture 120 Bahadur just before the conclusion. Meanwhile, Ranveer completed most of his work to Dhurandar, freeing up the schedule for Don 3. 

The report states, "Farhan is nearing the end of 120 Bahadur. Ranveer has finished shootings for most of Dulandar. So they no longer want to wait before filming Don 3. Interestingly, this is the first time Ranveer and Vicrant are displayed on the screen in front of the screen. The two actors previously worked together in films such as Lootera (2013) and Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), while Don 3 shows the first direct conflict in the film. The source added: "It is guaranteed that there are many stylized action sequences, including bike hunts, among the duo that were heavily associated with Kleinstadt's realistic role, but they appear in significantly different avatars. 

Details of women's leadership remain unconfirmed, but Sharvari Wagh and Kriti Sanon have been reported in role roles. It is still impossible to determine whether women's leadership will be involved in the film's initial schedule.
