Rani Mukerji reunites with Shah Rukh Khan for King: Report

After Pathaan's great success, Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand gathered again for the action packed thriller king. The film offers an impressive lineup of ensembles, produced by Red Chile and Marflix, including Suhana Khan, who debuted on the big screen. King stars SRK and Deepika Padukone in key roles with Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Suhana Khan, Arshad Warsi, Jaidep Arawatt and Ababay Verma in key roles. And now we have learned that the king's occupation has expanded further. 

According to a report from Pink Villa, Rani Mukerji joined in the appearance of a significant expanded cameo along with Shah Luk Khan. The source told the publication: Rani Mukerji is occupied to play the role of Suhana Khan's mother and is a role that serves as a catalyst for the entire film's action thriller. 

Sources also explained that Rani Mukerji's role appears to be a more extended cameo, and only requires five days. The source added: “It was an easy decision for the offer to say for Rani, Shah Lukh Khan and Siddharth Anand king. After hearing the role, she immediately agreed to join the film.  

With the completion of the lineup, King has developed into a project with stars under the direction of Siddharth Anand. Filmmakers will start with their schedule in Mumbai starting May 20th, followed by the international European segment. According to reports, King plans to release the big screen between October and December 2026. The film shows Shah Luk Khan as an assassin competing with Abhishek Bachchan.
