Ilayaraja sends legal notice to makers of Good Bad Ugly over alleged unauthorised use of iconic songs

Experienced music composer Ilayarraja has begun legal procedures against the makers of upcoming Tamil films, which appear to be unapproved use and amendments of his three legendary songs. Legal evidence reported by India Today shows that Ilayaraja RS is requesting it. As compensation, I looked for the removal of songs from the film along with a public apology.

The music maestro in particular was named "Iramai Ido Ido by Sakalakara Varavan" and "Ota Louver Tale" by Vikram's Jodi Manja Kulvi.

"Our client knowledge is based on his original work/music work Tamil film Nat Patu Ota Louver Tale, Tamil film Sakalakara Balaban Son Iramo Aido, and Tamil film En Jodi Manja Kulvi, Tamil film changed from Tamil film changed from Tamil film changed from Tamil film changed from Tamil film -VALLA -VALLA -VALLED, and you received in your Cinemil film.

The announcement continues. Such conduct represents a permitted use, budget, and a clear violation of copyright and the moral rights of the client. It should also be noted that he has never explicitly implied to use/change/change the format of the musical piece used in the film either explicitly or indeed to change.

In addition to money compensation, Ilayaraja also requested that filmmakers provide detailed intake encryption generated by the use of songs, and was given a formal excuse.

Good bad Ugly is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Adhvik Ravicandran and The Stars Ajith Kumar in leading roles, with Trisha Krishnan and Arjun. The film has created a lot of excitement, but now there are legal hurdles that can affect your music and marketing strategy.
