CBFC replaces ‘Railway Mantri’ with ‘Bada Mantri’ in Ajay Devgn-starrer Raid 2

All eyes are turned to Raid 2, the great publication of this week. The excitement is because it absorbs popular actors like Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor. It is a rare film to show a ritual ring in the role of a villain. Furthermore, the first part, Raid (2018), was a hit that collected Rs. Saurabh Shucla's 100 crawls and characters have been returned to the sequel. This Bollywood Hungama feature sheds light on the RAID 2 disconnect list. #Raid 2Exclusive: CBFC replaced "Badmamamamantris" in Ajay Devgn-Star Raid 2's Badmamamantris, replaced by Badmamantris

The censorship process for films usually begins several weeks in advance, and the censorship certificate is handed over one week  or ten days before the publication. Therefore, it is surprising to see RAID 2 achieve its certificate  on March 28, 2025. This is more than two months before the planned release on May 1st.

Luckily, the Raid 2 did not undergo a visual cut. Therefore, all  action and violent scenes were retained by the Central  Film Certification (CBFC). However, they called for a change in two dialogues. They asked the manufacturer to replace the Mantoris Railway with Badamantoris. Second, the eight-second  dialogue between Paisa, Hathyar and Taakat was asked to be removed at the beginning of the film.

As soon as these changes were made, RAID 2 was adopted with the U/A 7+ certificate. This new rating, which mentions age, was introduced in November 2024. UA 16+ and UA 13+  have also been implemented. Many films have been received by people over 16 and UA 13+ countries, including Pushpa 2, Skyforce and Baby John. Raid2 is probably the first big Hindi film  awarded with a U/A 7+ rating.

The film is 150.53 minutes long, as stated on the censorship certificate. In other words, RAID 2 is 2 hours 30 minutes  53 minutes. In Raid 2, Ajay Devgn once again plays the role of honest officer Amay Patnaik. Like Raid,  Raj Kumar Gupta is led.
