Zoya Akhtar expresses disappointment over Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, and other newcomers being ‘bullied’; says, “The audience is harsh with certain newcomers

Zoya Akhtar was able to use Launchpad at Archies for many strong children like Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda. They received mixed reactions with so many trolls due to their acting skills, while celebrating their debut on the Netflix OTT platform. The filmmakers spoke about the issue and revealed that some of them even confronted bullying and ultimately they felt guilty because they only followed the instructions.

In the latest podcast with Komalnafta, Zoya Ahtar opened to almost six newcomers in the teenage drama "Arches," and also responded to the type of response the film received. They are all very talented and I would like to work with them again. It was scary that they were newcomers. I told her. We gave them a role. A very professional crew attracted her. All the shops had the best names. I worked with them. I have an ok setting so I was. You just did what I asked you. I didn't like the fact that they were almost bullied. It wasn't good, I felt guilty because it was all my fault, but they asked me not to do it, she said. She added that the audience is difficult with certain newcomers. When that happened I felt sick. If the audience didn't like it, it was up to me and it wasn't for them. They are all very talented and people will see it over time.

Suhana Khan is the daughter of Bollywood Megastar Shah Luk Khan and Gauri Khan, while Agastia Nanda is the grandson of legendary star Amitabha Bachchan and stage actress Jaya Bachchan and Whiley Bourney Kapoor.
