PVRInox, India's largest exhibitor, has requested that Singham Again receive 60% of screen time during Diwali 2024. PVRInox controls nearly 35% of the business for Hindi-language feature films. "The argument on showcasing has been going on for the longest time, and the leading national chain has decided to allot 60 percent showcasing to Singham Again at all India level," a trade source shared that Sources claim that the decision was made keeping in mind the demand from the cinema-going audience across the board. The multiplex chain has given Singham Again preferential screenings and contributes 35% of the business for feature films.
"It's a business decision of demand meets supply, as Singham Again is huge in terms of budgets and star cast," the source adds. The 60:40 split is for Day 1, and based on audience word of mouth, necessary actions will be taken on Days 2 and 3.
We hear the higher performing areas in the mainstream stores have gone to Singham Once more, and this is a somewhat late masterstroke from Jio Studios, as Anil Thadani was giving his all to get single screens for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, by offering a clubbed manage Pushpa 2. On November 1, 2024, the two films are scheduled to be released theatrically.
