Sarfira Box Office Estimate Day 1: Akshay Kumar starrer takes a DISASTROUS start; collects Rs 2.25 crores on Friday with shows being cancelled at several locations

Sarfira, starring Akshay Kumar, opened poorly at the Indian box office, competing with films like Selfiee and Mission Raniganj. Early estimates indicate that Sarfira has received Rs. 2.10 to 2.40 crores on the first day of the season, which demonstrates draperies down for the film even before its delivery.

The film was a flake-out all over the board - be it single screens or multiplexes - and the equivalent reflects in the movies numbers as well. The film got a wide delivery on 2500 screens in India, yet the first day of the season business saw shows being dropped at a few areas. Numerous film lobbies have previously begun supplanting Sarfira with Kalki 2898 Promotion at their properties.

Some high-end properties will also see an increase in Kill's exposure over the weekend. These are not-super great finishes paperwork for Akshay Kumar, and there is a requirement for him to reexamine his techniques, as Sarfira is the fourth film to open under the Rs. 3 crore mark after Ringer Base, Selfiee, and Mission Raniganj.

Although the fate of Sarfira will not change despite the jumps, the film's start is too low and it is not going anywhere from here. All eyes are on the weekend.
