The creators of Ulajh received a U/A certificate after completing the censorship process promptly. However, the CBFC requested a few deletions. To start, the word 'f**k' was quieted in different spots. The expression "f**king bastard" was also muted in a similar way. In a similar scene, a foul hand motion was approached to be obscured. At last, the word 'c*****a' was approached to be quieted any place expressed in the film. The film wasn't exposed to any visual cuts.
On July 15, the makers of Ulajh received the censor certificate after these reductions were implemented. The length of the film, as referenced on the blue pencil testament, is 134 minutes. To put it another way, Ulajh lasts for 2 hours and 14 minutes. The movie opens in theaters on August 2.
Ulajh also features Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, and Jitendra Joshi in addition to Janhvi Kapoor. It is supported by Junglee Pictures and is coordinated by Sudhanshu Saria. In May 2023, the movie was officially announced, and the entire star cast posed together in a serious avatar. According to the producers' initial press release, Ulajh is about a young IFS officer from a prominent patriotic family who becomes involved in a perilous personal plot far from home.
In a meeting with Noontime in October last year, Gulshan Devaiah commended Janhvi Kapoor, "I never envisioned that we would be coordinated in a film since we have various sensibilities. At the point when two individuals with differentiating styles meet up, it very well may intrigue. She made some nice comments about my character when we first met. She is very diligent. I was unable to do how much things that she does in seven days."
