Manushi confirmed rumors that she had been approached for Preeti's role in Kabir Singh, opposite Shahid Kapoor. She only found out about this opportunity after she was crowned Miss World 2017. She was unable to pursue the role because she was bound by contractual obligations with the Miss World organization.

Manushi expressed her appreciation for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's filmmaking style, particularly his portrayal of female characters, despite the fact that she was unable to see Kabir Singh. She then gave Rashmika Mandanna, an actress, high marks for her performance in Vanga's Animal.
