The plans also include putting up posters in public places across Mumbai and showing birthday messages on movie screens all over India.
The program is meant to honor Bachchan’s long-lasting influence and the qualities like hard work, commitment, and excellence that have made him a big name in the world of acting.
Anand Pandit shared his feelings about the actor, saying, "Every year, I struggle to find the right words to express how much Amit Ji means to me, both as a person and as someone whose life has been impacted by movies.
What really inspires me is not just his work, but the way he approaches his job with such passion. The same fire we saw in 'Zanjeer' is still there.Even now, he brings the energy of a new actor, along with the wisdom of a seasoned pro."
For Pandit, the scholarship is a way to bring that inspiration beyond the world of films and give it to the next generation.
He explained, "Amit Ji has shown us what dedication, resilience, and the ability to keep changing can bring. With this program, I hope to celebrate not only his legendary status but also the values he stands for.If his journey can encourage young people to chase their dreams with confidence, then that is a legacy worth remembering."
This is not the first time Pandit has marked Bachchan’s birthday with special efforts.
On the actor’s 80th birthday in 2022, he promised meals for 8,000 kids and gave 800 hearing aids. The next year, he planted more than 8,100 trees and created the 'Amitabh Bachchan Grove.'
This scholarship program will again mark Bachchan’s birthday with a gesture that focuses on education and helping society.
