Toxic OTT Rights: Streaming platforms in discussions, but deal figures are pure speculation

Yash-starrer *Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups* didn't achieve the box office success many had hoped for, but its future isn't over.Bollywood Hungama has learned that the makers are currently talking with streaming platforms about its digital release.

*Toxic* has been in the news a lot recently, especially regarding its potential digital rights deal.
Although there are many reports about how much the film might be worth, nothing is confirmed yet. Some numbers are just guesses and shouldn't be taken seriously right now.

This is important because *Toxic* was expected to be a big hit in theaters.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and starring Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth, it was a big-budget movie. But its box office didn't meet those high expectations.

Earlier reports suggested that an OTT offer was much higher than what might be possible now.
Some estimates even put the current value at around 30 crores. But again, these are just guesses, and no deal has been finalized.

In recent times, streaming platforms have become more careful.
They look at how well a film did in theaters, how people reacted, and what long-term value it might have before making a big investment.

So, for *Toxic*, the OTT part is still in progress.
Even though the theatrical run didn't go as planned, the future on streaming platforms is still being discussed. The final deal will only be clear once everything is settled.

An insider who knows about the ongoing talks told Bollywood Hungama, "Even though *Toxic* didn’t meet the theatrical expectations, it’s still getting a lot of attention, especially for its digital premiere.
Talks are happening with different platforms, but no deal has been confirmed. What’s being shared in the market right now is all just speculation."

For now, any number being talked about should be considered just an estimate and not the real deal.
