A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Music composer Himesh Reshammiya has signed on for the film.
Vikram Bhatt’s horror movies are known for more than just scary moments and visuals—they also have great music.1920: Cold Winter is no different.This time, Himesh really wanted the music to shine, so he reached out to him.Himesh was excited to work with Vikram again after so long and agreed to join the project.”
1920: Cold Winter will be the fifth film made by Vikram Bhatt and Himesh Reshammiya.
They previously worked together on Footpath (2003), Fear (2007), Red: The Dark Side (2007), and Dangerous Ishhq (2012).
The source also said, “Himesh Reshammiya’s music label, Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, has secured the music rights for the film.
The label will also release songs from other films where Himesh is composing, including the Emraan Hashmi starrer Gunmaaster G9, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Yeh Prem Mol Liya, and Anil Sharma’s Arjun Naga starring Arjun Rampal and Utkarsh Sharma.”
Another source added, “Vikram Bhatt has shot many of his movies in Ooty.
But for 1920: Cold Winter, he’ll be filming in Mussoorie.Plus, the shoot will take place during the winter season at the end of the year, which fits perfectly with the film’s needs.”

Like that movie, this one is also produced by Anand Pandit.Ahan Shetty has been confirmed as the male lead.Interestingly, Ahan Shetty and Anya Singh also worked together in this year’s hit war film, Border 2.Ahan played Lt Cdr Mahendra Singh Rawat, while Anya portrayed his wife, Sudha Rawat.So, 1920: Cold Winter will be the second film where Ahan Shetty and Anya Singh act opposite each other.
