Hanuman Ansh has been showing in cinemas for almost seven weeks, but it's still getting enough viewers to keep its box office going.On Day 49, the movie made Rs.2.15 crore, bringing its total earnings in India to about Rs.281.48 crore.
The latest earnings came after the film made Rs.3.43 crore on Thursday.This means there was a 37.32% drop in collections on Friday.While this drop is expected after so many weeks in theaters, making over Rs.2 crore on the seventh week is still a big deal.
One of the most impressive things about this movie is how long it has stayed in theaters.
Even after passing the Rs.200 crore and Rs.250 crore marks, Hanuman Ansh has kept bringing in audiences and increasing its total rather than just slowing down.
With the latest Rs. 2.15 crore, the film is now at around Rs.281.48 crore.That leaves about Rs.18.52 crore more to hit the big Rs.300 crore target.
At this stage, each new day adds another chapter to what is already a surprisingly long box office success.
The big question now is whether the movie can keep up the momentum to reach the Rs.300 crore mark.
